I say with what is cheaper to kill.  As everyone knows, the worldwide economy is in a horrid state.

Vampires you can get with a wooden stake or setting them on fire- ie.- for free.  You can skip around the forest and pick up point pieces of wood and make fire out of rocks (also free).

Now, werewolves you need silver bullets- metal is a tad pricey.
